Accidental Counsellor training

This four-hour course is delivered by qualified Lifeline trainers, and helps equip any member of the community to identify those in crisis and how to respond. Think of it as mental health first-aid.

This four-hour course is delivered by qualified Lifeline trainers, and helps equip individuals to RECOGNISE those in distress or crisis, RESPOND appropriately and REFER to the best place for further help.

Lifeline Australia handled almost 1 million crisis contacts in 2017 and our Accidental Counsellor program draws on the extensive expertise of our proven crisis handling skills, introducing them to you in a half day workshop. This program equips individuals to RECOGNISE when others are struggling, to RESPOND appropriately with confidence and to REFER them to the best place for help.

Do you know how to be that caring person that can support a family member, friend or colleague who is in a crisis? Lifeline Northern Beaches Accidental Counsellor Training can help you be the support someone else may need.
