Workplace training

Employee health, wellbeing and resilience are essential to achieve the best outcomes for your organization through a mentally and emotionally robust workforce.

Employee health, wellbeing and resilience are essential to achieve the best outcomes for your organisation. This can be optimised by the provision of a safe, supportive and respectful work environment. As part of an integrated approach to wellness, equipping leaders and their teams with skills to support the mental health of others can have a significant business impact.

Lifeline Northern Beaches offers a variety of training to suit the needs of businesses throughout our local area. Each course is designed to increase knowledge around mental health and crisis support as well as empower attendees to feel confident that they know how to help. Our trainers have backgrounds in mental health support and are experienced in facilitating quality learning for business leaders and their teams.

Lifeline Northern Beaches provide the following:
Accidental Counsellor

Accidental Counsellor is designed for anyone working in an organisation. This half-day workshop gives participants the skills to recognise when a colleague, family member or friend may be struggling with their mental health; respond in a compassionate, empathetic way; and the knowledge of where to refer for help. This can be tailored to meet the needs of your particular workplace context. Find out more…

The course is aimed at people who require detailed information about how to support others. Domestic & Family Violence Awareness

Lifeline’s Domestic and Family Violence Response Training is a national training program that enables people to confidently:

    • RECOGNISE signs of domestic and family violence (DFV)
    • RESPOND with appropriate care
    • REFER people experiencing or at risk of domestic and family violence to appropriate support services

We offer a variety of Domestic Violence training courses some of which can be government funded. Training ranges from 2-hour general awareness sessions to more detailed 2-day workshops for health, allied health and community frontline workers. We can discuss your organisation’s needs to determine which option would be most appropriate. Find out more…

All our education programs can be conducted in-house for your organisation.
