Help reduce loneliness and enhance the quality of life for older people living in residential aged care facilities. By simply visiting and sharing your time, you can bring joy, companionship, connection, and friendship to someone who truly needs it. 

Join Lifeline Northern Beaches, Mosman to Kirribilli as a volunteer in the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) — covering the Northern Beaches LGA, Mosman to Kirribilli.

Volunteering as an aged care volunteer visitor is a deeply rewarding experience. Your visits can brighten someone’s day, provide meaningful social connection, reduce the risk of isolation and build a genuine and enduring friendship. 

As an ACVVS volunteer, you’ll receive training and ongoing support, and you’ll be part of a caring and committed team. 

 

Commitment 

Just one hour per fortnight for a minimum of 12 months.

 

Role Requirements 

  • We welcome individuals from diverse and cultural backgrounds 
  • Must be aged 18 years and over 
  • Willingness to complete a Police Check (provided at no cost)
