Your donation to the Lifeline Northern Beaches Annual Appeal has a massive impact in your own backyard.

Lifeline’s local services are free or low-cost, which means anyone who needs support can access it from our counselling locations in Avalon, Balgowlah and Mosman. However, it costs Lifeline Northern Beaches $98 per one-hour face-to-face counselling session.

In the past twelve months*, we have increased our counselling team from 23 to 26 counsellors who have seen clients in more than 2,000 face-to-face counselling sessions.

Lifeline’s national services – the 13 11 14 telephone line and our Lifeline text service 0477 13 11 14 – are utilised by individuals from all walks of life who find themselves in situations where it’s hard to cope. Local Crisis Supporters answer these calls and texts with care and compassion, often with life-saving outcomes.

As one of 41 Lifeline centres across the country, Lifeline Northern Beaches answered more than 55,000 calls to 13 11 14 with almost 16,000 hours given by our Crisis Supporters in the last year.

Your donation enables Lifeline to support the mental health of your community. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Locally, from Kirribilli to Palm Beach, our services positively impact our community by providing much-needed support.
