We value you, and your skills and experience
Volunteering with Lifeline Northern Beaches is a whole new experience.
Volunteering is always fulfilling, and it can be fun and rewarding in ways you’ve never imagined.
How much time would I be expected to give?
It’s not about giving up huge numbers of hours – well, not unless you want it to be! Everyone’s circumstances are different, and we welcome every person’s unique contribution, no matter how big or small, one-off or ongoing.
But to generalise, it’s probably fair to say that the person who can make a rock-solid commitment to a couple of hours a week, every week, is probably easier for us to fit-in than the person who can give us big chunks of his or her time, but only irregularly.
Put your skills to new uses
Volunteering with Lifeline Northern Beaches can be one-off or ongoing. It can be easy or stretching. It can give you new skills, or give you an opportunity to put your existing skills to new uses.
You’ll meet a lot of like-minded people.
And you’ll be helping to make a big difference.
Every hour of volunteered time helps us to care for more people in better ways
Volunteers are vital to the work of Lifeline Northern Beaches, and make up the majority of our work force.
Whatever you can give of your expertise and time, (from a few hours a week upwards), will make a huge difference in helping us to save lives and to support those in need within our community.
- Work in our Balgowlah office
- Work in one of our shops
- Work at our book fairs
- Work out in the community
Lifeline Northern Beaches has a broad and diverse range of volunteer needs. Our policy is to match volunteers to specific roles and needs, not vice versa.
If you are seriously interested in volunteering, register your details with us, and we will recontact you as and when appropriate opportunities become available.
